Commercial O&I Installer | Project Manager

First Class Commercial Services is hiring an Installer/ Project Manager. We are looking for a senior installer that is familiar with Commercial O&I services and someone who can lead projects from the front and can think on their feet when complications arise. You will be required to be in the field and help assist with the installation.  

To be considered for this position, you must have previous project management experience in the O&I industry, it is a plus if you are familiar with systems furniture and the installation process.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the logistical complexities and business transition aspects of relocation projects for our clients.
• Conduct walk-throughs with sales, assist in completing estimates and developing statements of work, measure progress, ensure and measure profitability of projects, conduct cost studies, ensure safety, and prepare proposals.
• Lead management position responsible for the overall direction of commercial office & industrial facility relocation projects, consolidations and mergers as well as complex logistics projects.
• Learn, train and execute all aspects of First Class Standard Operating Procedure for all commercial moving service and logistics-related activities.
• Attend walk-throughs for office moves and assist sales team in bid generation, scope of work development, staff projects, measurement of progress, cost studies and ensuring safety.
• Execute the overall direction for large scale commercial office &industrial facility relocation projects & complex logistics projects by working with sales team to follow the scope of work closely and ensuring customer expectations are met and that any out-of-scope work is approved via a duly executed change order.
• Develop roles and responsibilities for client's internal team members and external vendors including managing resource requirements.
• Assist in First Class University curriculum development and training activities.
• Perform Safety and Superior Terminal Efficiency Program (STEP) inspections.
• Take complete ownership of all First Class asset management responsibilities including taking inventory of assets, conducting audits of check-in/check-out documentation and spot checking crews
• Attend training and employee evaluations.
• Travel to other locations for projects and/or training as needed
• Developing and maintaining client relations and employee relations
